2023 Makeup trends

Are you getting married in 2023? If so then here is what I’ve noticed trending at the moment, and also what I feel will continue into 2023….

Fluffy Brows - brushed up, fuller, natural looking brows.

Fuller Lashes- Assuming natural lash extensions will be desired by brides next year is no longer the case, and many of my clients are already opting for bigger, and bolder lash extensions.

Single layer base- If you haven’t already heard of the ‘single layer base makeup’ routine, then I definitely think you will in 2023. The one layer base is all about doing exactly that and only applying one layer. This means you are not layering products, and instead popping products exactly where they need to be, concealer where you want it, contour, blush, and foundation (if using) and blending together. Doing this technique means that your using a lot less product, and the result is a gorgeous, glowy, natural looking makeup.

Neutral or Smokey Eyes- Neutral eyeshadows have always been favoured by my brides, think browns and champagnes with beautiful golden pigments, this classic bridal look will forever be popular among brides. I’m also seeing a return of the smokey eyes (why a smokey eye ever become unpopular I have no idea), smokey eyes with natural, glowing skin, and a soft nude lip is such a beautiful Bridal makeup look.
